• I need a reasonable adsl2 phone/broadband bundle, currently with Telstra with a pensioner discount for phone and a wireless USB. Think a modem with router would give me more value and faster. We make about 15 calls a week to mobiles and currently have a back to base alarm via phone for link to ambulance will this be affected in change over? What is the best wireless adsl2 package for an average user?

  • For the past year I was on a Bigpond wireless internet connection, as my home does not have any ADSL. Last week, Bigpond told me that I might have ADSL (not ADSL 2). They have not confirmed this to me yet. I think they are still testing the line. Assuming, ADSL is available Bigpond is very expensive with the home phone and 25GB ADSL bundle - $98.00 per month for 24 months. My question is: Are the ADSL internet speeds provided by other providers slower than Bigpond, or are they of the same speed? Also, do they use the same phone line? I prefer other providers, as I will save a few dollars. Thank you for your assistance.

  • Hi, Am looking for about 50 GB a month for a reasonable price, however only require the internet. I would prefer not to use a landline and I have been told that it is possible to just have a modem. Do you have any package or deal that could assist me? Thank you.

  • I am enquiring for my son & daughter in law. They have just moved into another rental home & it is for sale, they need internet & were looking at wireless, but I don't think they will get very good coverage. I think they need a plan with approximately 10gb a month & no contract in case they move soon. They were previously with Southern Cross Telco it was costing $75 a month & have modem. Can you please recommend a suitable option. I have been researching Westnet, but do not know which is best.

  • Recently moved to Australia and need home phone/ broadband confused over different offers, need one that caters for lots of downloads.

  • Is there any TPG plan without a contract? If not what is the charge if I terminate the contract before expiry? Any plan without phone line (naked adsl)?

  • I currently have ADSL2 at my home, which is in Carindale Brisbane QLD and apparently we are limited to what services we can have there as far as suppliers and cable versus ADSL etc. We currently have iPrimus and have a Phone line and ADSL2, however we don't want to have the use of a phone now and only want the internet service. We are set up with wireless and want a medium usage fastest service with a reasonable price as we are now on a plan of 21gig but have seen 50gig on and 50gig off for around $40-$50 and would like help to guide us the right way please and best options for this area we live.

  • Hey guys, Just wanted to get some advice about my internet cover. I am currently with Optus-bundle(phone/cable) contract expired and we are thinking of upgrading to a laptop that we can use around the house. We are low users (5 gig plenty per month) will probably lose the landline and keep the mobile. Could you give me some quotes for the internet access home only - also a bundle including landline (pay $105 monthly at moment) if we do decide - but must have access around the house.

  • Hi there, I want to install broadband TV at home, also for my computer at home. How much is it going to cost me?

  • I have my mobile and home phone with Telstra and my son is constantly nagging me to get broadband as he likes to play on line games. We live in a remote rural area. What would be the best plan for us? I also use the internet for banking and researching for school. (I am a teacher) Thanks.

  • Is there any setup cost and do you send a person to install and check that the system is working properly? I will be running an extension cable from kitchen to the bedroom. I will need someone to check that I have the extension cable working properly. Do I need an ADSL 2 unit on the phone line? I am only looking for Broadband, no phone. How do I pay for your service? How do I know that your service is going to work properly?

  • I currently have "Dial Up" internet, which with my phone I pay around $50-$60 per month including calls. I am not a big internet user, I cannot get "Foxtel Cable" in my area. I need to know the cheapest bundle I can get for "Broadband" including free calls possibly. But I need to be assured that I can get cable internet. As I am aware that mobile broadband drops out badly in our area. Is it possible to get a bundle including free calls for under $60-$70?

  • My partner is opening a business in St Kilda and is looking for a phone/internet bundle. The phone line needs to also be used for eftpos. Internet usage minimum, phone calls will be to land lines and mobiles. Looking for the very best deal... Can you help me asap?

  • I would like to find out exactly how much a month it is for mobile broadband. What are my best options? It says $39.95 a month but then it mentions a bundle fee, confuses me. So is it $69 a month or $39?

  • At the moment I am with Big Pond. I am looking to change, currently I am paying $69.95 per month with some sort of deal with the landline, I am not sure what that is. I have 4 PCs in my house with a wi fi connection. 2 out of the four belong to my children who mainly use it for home work and are on Face book and surf the web. My wife uses hers mainly for her business which is typing and myself, I like to also surf the web check the latest news and sport. The 4 of us all use Email.

  • I live at Tweed Heads West, no cable access, and coverage (signal strength) in area is not so good. Could I use ADSL, at the moment I have Virgin Broadband with landline telephone included in package, I would also like better wireless connectivity within the house to use other computers/laptops.

  • I am living on the sunshine coast QLD and want to package home phone and broadband, which I think will need to be adsl2. We have a phone/fax machine and will require receiving faxes. Will this be possible with broadband? Thinking of TPG broadband and home line package (we are moderate users of internet) but would like some help with deciding which is best for us.

  • The options shown on your website may be totally wrong. It looks strange the iiNet Option 1 paying 34.95/month is ever so inferior to Option 3 paying 29.95/month. Please clarify. I want an option with one year contract (or no contract) bundled with phone with fast speed. The total fee, including installation and modem.

  • I am trying to define my & the household needs in order to get a great deal. I am on a low income and am currently studying on line. Which requires downloading information. I have two primary aged school children. One of my children researches information at home for associated projects on Ultranet at school. Both children like to play games and talk to friends. I am a resident of Castlemaine, Victoria. Most plans do not give you all information. For example; if you move to a different address are there any costs associated. I am also not aware of how many Gigabytes I would require. You may have guessed that I am still on dial up. I don't won't a plan that charges you if you have used gigabyte quota. Regards & thanks.

  • Hi I am in temporary accommodation. I am looking for the cheapest available internet with no contract. I am finding it confusing as they all seem to bundle the packages with home phone. I do not have a home phone connected as I was just going to use my mobile since I am in temporary accommodation. There is a socket here to get a phone connected if I have to. What would you recommend? I used to have Bigpond cable with 20GB per month. I would like something similar to that. However I cannot sign up for a 24month contract and it looks like I will need $150 for setup fees if there is no contract. And I can't really afford that. I do have a mobile broadband thing with Vodafone that came with my mobile phone but it's only 1GB. I am not sure if they would increase the limit and it's pricey. It also drops in and out a lot. Thanks for your advice.

  • I have a Telstra Turbo pre-paid wireless broadband - how much internet reading time can I expect with $20 credit, not including any downloads?

  • Currently with AAPT, looking for a better deal on home phone, internet. Have family in other states so need to make long distance phone calls weekly, Pref 10GB b/band.

  • I have a Telstra home phone at the moment with Spin as my ISP, but would like to convert to broadband only (no home phone). My suburb is Sippy Downs, 4556. Neither Optus nor iPrimus is able to supply me with the required service. Can you recommend a plan for around $50 or less per month? Currently I am paying Telstra $20 per month for the line and Spin $50 per month for 5 GB untimed. iPrimus wanted $40 for the internet and $30 for the mandatory phone, so no point apart from the extra download they were offering. Dodo ADSL2+ Metro 100GB interests me, but can they supply the service at my exchange?

  • I am looking into internet options, but am not sure what would be best suited for me. We have 2 laptops, which we want fast internet and approx 100GB downloads for. There is no home phone needed just internet connection and a wireless router. Can you please give me some options with a budget of $40-$50 per month? Download size can be reduced to fit budget if need be.

  • Hi, I'm looking for a cable internet provider in Melbourne, the cable provider is Foxtel, so does that mean my only option is Telstra? Or, are there other options, because I am looking for a 6-month contract and Telstra doesn't have one?

  • Please tell me how the 'minimum cost' works. Is this over a set period? My use of the internet is limited, and I doubt for example I would use $1195 worth of service in a year. Thanks.

  • I have been a TPG customer for a few years and I pay nearly $50 a month for 25 GB, yet my speed is not even 1500 kbps. You have advertised 200 GB and a speed of 24,000kbps. Can I change my plan to a faster speed and more GB for the same charge? Thank you.

  • What is the best plan available for regional W.A on a no contract, around 50-100GB per month on adsl+2?
  • Hi, I have been told by Telstra that I can't have broadband at my house and that I have to have wireless. I have a large family and we are used to having 100 gig through Dodo, and I think we would exceed the 12 gig Telstra offers. I am an Optus customer for my mobile as well. Could you please let me know what the best offer you could provide me with. Kind regards.

  • Currently my plan is Ultimate 1500/25GB with VOIP at $49.95 per month. Can I change to TPG Off-Net ADSL 512/100GB and will I be able to still use VOIP? What would the cost be?
  • Currently on an Exetel T7U monthly plan costing $63.00 per month. Experiencing time lags loading Youtube and when a additional laptop is using the service. Will upgrading my plan slove my problems or perhaps a stronger wireless router?
  • If I take out your 18-month contract bundle $9.99 plus $30.00 line rental do I have to pay Telstra as well for the phone rental? How do the call charges work? Do I have to pay $69.99 for a modem also?
  • How much is unlimited ADSL broadband?
  • Interested in broadband packages on ADSL1, I have an iiNet package of 10GB with line speed of 512/256 for $49.95/mth. Have Telstra home line on $39.95/mth. Can you offer faster line speed for same or lesser amount?

  • I am looking for a fast broadband plan which should have a 200 GB and above monthly limit. Mainly, I will be using that to watch international tv channels, so I need good speed so that it can buffer quickly. I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
  • I need an ADSL2+ Broadband with 20GB plus home phone plan that includes STD calls. What do you suggest?
  • I have just built a new home and need home phone, internet and a new mobile phone. I will need the phone line installed also. I have three teenage children who all use the internet. I would like a large download capacity, capped or unlimited phone calls and a new mobile phone (maybe iPhone) with capped calls. Could you please help me.

  • Please help. I am currently with Telstra and I am on a Home12GB Ultimate bundle cost $118.00per mth. Plus mobile plan of $40 and $30. We use the home phone mainly for local calls. I would like to increase the internet to 20GB, only one phone is on a contract with Telstra. I feel that we could get a better deal but don't know where.
  • Hi. I asked 3 years ago could I have ADSL wireless broadband coverage from Telstra and Optus. They both said I could not have this in my area. We are with Primus home phone and I signed up with them for ADSL but when they tried to connect they sent me a letter saying it was not available so I had to cancel. I then went to prepaid and contract with Optus. My contract has now ended and I am asking suppliers again is it possible to have ADSL wireless modem connected to my home phone. My daughter is with TPG so she suggested I try you. I do not want a contract. I will supply a wireless modem router connected to my home phone. Thank you for your help.
  • I occasionally need wireless internet while travelling, so I am looking for a prepaid system that has a long expiry time; not a month. Thanks.
