  • Hi there, I have seen your ad for $39.99 per month that is adsl bband/landline. I have a Telstra landline at present and do not have broadband, I will be a new customer. Would you please clarify that this is correct and could you provide me any other costs like set up, phone charges etc...thankyou.

  • We apparently live in an area where we cannot get broadband via the telephone lines. We currently use dialup. I have been told that because we are in the country the government subsidises our internet with putting in a "dish". Do you know this to be true and if so what way should I go. I'll do a Tony Abbott here and say I'm no Bill Gates and have no understanding of computer/internet high/low speeds and what I may need. We currently only use very little internet at home due to the speed, if we were to have better speed we would stop using the computers at work and use the one at home. We currently use way less than 1gb however I am sure this would increase greatly once we had a system that worked at reasonable speed. Please use email for replies. Thanks Gem

  • I am interested in getting TPG ADSL 2+ with a VoIP phone but I couldn't register my number online to them, it says not available with home phone and not really sure what the problem was. Broadband is available in our area of course. I called them twice but couldn't get anywhere. The call center from Philippines always answered the call and they couldn't help much and she only said I need to call Telstra and ask them to upgrade my home phone. Is it really necessary? I thought TPG will contact Virgin Broadband for taking over and do the transaction themselves. I have a phone number but the phone line is not connected anymore in our phone wall socket because it's connected direct to Virgin Broadband modem. I'm with Virgin Broadband and it expires on the 11th June and I wanted to get a fast internet ADSL 2+ with VoIP phone this time, it seems a good deal.
