  • I need to bundle Foxtel, internet, business and fax line. I believe we at Sth Brisbane are supposed to be getting NBN on Nov 11 - so maybe Telstra is the way to go? Want the cheapest plan. Charlene

  • I am interested in landline and internet package. What are your trading hours for customer service and tech. support? Please advise. I would like to know what kind of coverage you can offer in Glebe. My current provider has limited hours for customer service and reception problems usually from 17.00hrs to 20.00hrs. Thanks, Lisa.

  • Hi I would like information on the best ADSL and ADSL2+ plans. I do not want to pay for line rental, just the internet connection and usage. I notice Club Telco has 10GB for $30 per month. Can you please advise which is the most suitable plan for me? Thanks, Michael

  • My friend is on a plan with you guys for ADSL2 Naked for $60 per month and has a data download of 120GB. I was just wondering if there is a way of getting the same deal as the 30GB is too low but 200GB is too high for our house.

  • Hi I would like to know what is the best option for me, I only can get ADSL 1 here where I live and I pay a separate phone line rental, I was going to go with TPG adsl2 $29.95 and phone line rental $19.95 with the option of getting unlimited calls for $5.00 extra total being $54.90, however their phone line service is not in this area yet and they can only offer me the adsl 1, I want to save money both with my home phone and internet and I'm not sure if I should go wireless and forget the phone line rental all together, I just wish there was a plan for adsl1 users with home phone and unlimited calls for a little bit extra but there are none all come with paying a lot extra for making calls, what do you suggest? I'm confused and I just want to save money at present I'm paying 39.95 for 15 gb internet adsl1 and I have average phone line rental with calls is $80 so that's well over $100 per month should I just get a good mobile phone deal and separate internet or can you find me a great deal like the one I wanted at TPG? Thanks sorry for raving on so much!! Joanne

  • We are currently with Optus paying $109 pm for unlimited local and national calls plus 30GB which we regularly use. Was looking at 100GB or unlimited with providers such as iiNet, but their phone calls look expensive. My wife has family interstate and as such uses national calls frequently. Should we unbundle? John

  • Who has best coverage for wireless broadband?

  • Need assistance with difference in Wi-fi connections and plans eg: wi-fi cable and ADSL-2, Sue

  • Need home phone/internet bundle. Area only has ADSL not ADSL2+, so I want ADSL or dialup. I only need about 5GB-10GB of data per month. I’m basically looking for the cheapest access to internet-preferably not with off-peak times. Glyn

  • Hi, my neighbour and I are both getting an Aupair (nanny) and they will live in their own house behind our houses. The Aupairs are from Germany so therefore will bring their own computers and would like to stay in contact with their families through email and Skype. They will also want to browse the Internet. We would like them to be set up with broadband to do this, but want to pay a minimum. They are also only here for six months so we do not want a 24-month contract. Can you please recommend something under a maximum of $40 per month. Thanks, Tam

  • I have just moved to Perth and want to get broadband for my rental property. I will be using my laptop mainly for Skype calls each week (approx 5 hours a week), surfing the net, facebook and emails. I want a fast connection for skype and just wondered if mobile broadband would be fast enough to avoid skype freezing? If so, which provider is the best? Clare

  • Price on internet wireless broad band connection for my lap top. Preferably around 5 to 10 GB? Cheers, John

  • As pensioners we want the best plan for our home phone and broad band - we currently use our computer daily, we do not down load things, just general use daily and e-mails. Our phone, we do make long distance calls, as our family is all interstate, and general local calls. We would be pleased if we could lower our present Telstra bill from $129.00 per month, as we do not need all the gigabytes that are provided on this plan. Norma.

  • I currently have a BigPond ADSL2+ account. I went with BigPond because they were the only ones who could give me ADSL2+, but my speed seems woeful. My download speed is 3,459kbps, with a transfer rate of 432.4 kb/sec, and the upload speed is 686kbps with a transfer rate of 85.8 kb/sec. What speeds should I be expecting from ADSL2+? Thanks for your help, Colin

  • What is the difference between ADSL and ADSL2? Kerry

  • This is my first connection. Have a land line in place. Have a dial tone. Do you do connections to existing lines or do I have to get Telstra to do the connection and you change the details later. I am in Murwillumbah, do you service that area? Am interested in home phone/internet bundle 500GB.

  • They say adsl and adsl2 is available in my area but they tell me I cannot get either due to having a pair gained line, how can this be fixed? Justin

  • I am looking for a broadband and home line plan, which will give me sufficient internet usage for a low to medium usage of downloads. Home phone cost needs to be capped for unlimited local usage and reasonable priced mobile usage. However if a plan would be more suitable with mobile phone instead of home phone I would be interested also. Although I think I would still have to pay line rental for the internet? Thank you, Margot.

  • We currently use a USB modem stick with Dodo which takes forever to load pages no matter what computer its plugged into. Is it usual for this type of internet connection to be slow and problematic? We guess so and are looking for the best value landline/internet bundle package which is fast, meaning only having to wait seconds for pages to load....can you advise please? We live in the Fremantle area WA

  • To whom it may concern, I am interested in using TPG for my home, but I am just wondering if there is a TPG office I can visit in Brisbane around Sunnybank or Indooroopilly? Or, do I have to get information through the phone? I am interested in renting a phone line and having ADSL internet. Where should I start? My house is in Mansfield 4122. I don’t know if TPG will work in that area. Thank you, Shirley.

  • We have 2 mobile wireless USB broadband plans. One has never worked well and the other keeps disconnecting. We are looking for affordable internet that’s reliable.

  • What are the cheapest naked broadband plans?

  • What is the best ADSL1 1500 broadband only, monthly fee up to $60.00 per month?

  • Hi there, I live in Geebung, QLD, 4034. An ISP provider rejected my application for ADSL2+ saying that my house is connected to a sub exchange through a RIM. So, is there a way I could get broadband internet? Also can I get broadband through Telstra only, or can I get it from anybody else? Regards, Puneet

  • What speeds does Club Telco offer in regional Coffs Harbour, NSW?

  • I want unlimited internet, with a bundle that gives free local and national calls (bundle) is there a package for this? Regards, Brett

  • Hi, My family has a holiday home in Coomba Park NSW postcode 2428. The prepaid Dodo wireless USB works well there and we are there every school holidays and about every third weekend. Because we are not there every month we may not get value out of anything over $20 per month. What would work out here?

  • Which providers can use Optus infrastructure?

  • I am wanting to change my broadband provider. I would like the lowest cost monthly rate as I am a low internet user, and I want a home phone number which can be VoIP or otherwise. Also looking for minimal set up/connection fees. Although I have an inactive telephone line available, I do not wish to pay for telephone reconnection, nor pay telephone line rental. What do you recommend? Helen

  • I am moving to Deer Park in Victoria – I would like to know the cheapest prices for unlimited internet usage.

  • Hi there, I am not sure which type of internet is best for me, ie cable VS ADSL2. The house I am moving into previously had cable. What are the benefits VS ADSL2+? Which is better value? Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers, Jess

  • I have just bought a Kindle e reader and need WiFi to register and operate it. My home computer is already connected to internet with Optus ADSL which frankly is a bit slow. What are my options?

  • Which provider has the strongest mobile internet signal/coverage for Woodcroft, SA. Current provider Vodafone has very poor signal and I need to change ASAP.

  • I was previously connected with Bigpond, but the connection was not stable and always had interruptions. Their customer service was also bad. So later I moved to iiNet, their service was much better but the interruption also occurs frequently (several times a day too – frustrating!) I am looking for a fast but very stable connection in this area, around 100G at daily time. Is it possible?

  • As ADSL2 is not available in this area and I live more than 3 km from the nearest exchange and ADSL1 is only marginally faster than dial up, I was considering prepaid mobile. I also live in a renowned black spot for mobile phones and wish to know if you could guarantee coverage if I did so. Optus promised coverage but had to refund my money when they were unable to provide satisfactory service.

  • Moving house, currently have cable. Happy with speed. Looking for deal at new place. Ideally cable again, or something just as fast. Have a wireless router (for cable). Moving to Belmont VIC. Thanks.

  • I need the Internet. I am interested in your plan - 500 GB for AUD $29.99. Please clarify how you arrange connection – via cable or without? I am from Bentleigh East 3165 Vic.

  • Hi! I'm moving into an apartment at the end of July and I just wonder how long it would take them to come and set it up? I've been looking at TPG's 200 GB for $49.90. We are starting Uni a couple days after we move in and we need internet pretty soon. Do I need to order this now to get it in time? We are going to be three students living in the apartment. Do you think a plan of 200GB per month will be enough? The lease of the apartment is 6 months, when we move can we take the internet with us and continue our plan, let's say we have one for 12 months? And last, I'm living in St. Lucia QLD and do you think we will get a good speed with TPG or is there other providers closer? Thank you so much.

  • I was told by a supergeek, computer fix it guy that we would be better off having cable internet with a VoIP for a home phone! Is this possible and what's the best way to go about this. We currently are with Optus on a $100 plan and are finding the internet slow, we are looking to upgrade and thought about doing this.

  • We have been told that because of our exchange we can only connect to ADSL1 not ADSL2. This is a Telstra fault/problem???? I thought ADSL2 was pretty well the standard...... Can you help explain? It is shockingly slow!

  • Which would be the most economical broadband connection (just the broadband and not the phone) in Lonsdale Street Melbourne CBD?

  • Can you please tell me what the difference is between ADSL2+ and Naked broadband? I believe we can get ADSL here at Shelly Beach.
