• I am currently using Club Telco. ADSL2+ (??) Cost is $30 per month, 15GB per month with no contract. I am a pensioner so cost is very important to me. I live in Frankston South, about 4.5 km from the Mt. Eliza exchange. My internet connection is most unsatisfactory, best speed down is around 1.5 mbps, mostly it is around 380 kbps, often it drops out entirely. I have complained to Club Telco without satisfaction. Are you able to offer me a solution at around the same cost? I only need around 8 to 10 GB per month. My son in Brisbane uses TPG and is very happy with it. Thank you.

  • My daughter is living in a unit at Darlington Sydney and needs internet access for university. I would classify her as a heavy user of the internet. I would prefer wireless broadband with high speed and reliability. She does not have the landline connected at the unit. What plan or package would you suggest?

  • I am on a disability pension and I study on-line, so I have a need for plenty of GB. I have a mobile phone. At the moment I pay $29 for the phone, and $49 on mobile wireless for the laptop. I need something cheaper. I am currently with Dodo and live in Forster, NSW, 2428. Can you help me? Thank you

  • I am looking for a package that includes landline phone service fee, local and national calls, and enough speed and data to check emails. All these for under $50 per month. I am currently with Telstra. What can you suggest?

  • Hi. I’m about to move up to Sawtell (Coffs Harbour area), and I’m looking for a fast internet connection (Is adsl 2 in the area?) + medium to heavy (at least 50GB ish in peak time) usage plan allowance. My favoured option is TPG, as I’ve used them before (Melbourne metro area) and have been satisfied. Are there other ISPs that may be more suitable, as it’s a rural/country area? Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers

  • I would like a broadband plan up to $50 per month, and at least 20g download on ADSL2

  • I need a broadband internet speed that will support Skype. Our current service gives us 400mb, which is inadequate. I would prefer to pay less than $35 per month. Am interested in what TPG can do for me.

  • What happens if I exceed the cap on my plan with the main ISPs? Which ISPs charge additional fees for excess downloads, and which ISPs reduce (throttle) my download speed?

  • I live at 17/32-38 Hill St. Marrickville 2204 NSW. My questions are: Can you service this area? How much would it cost to have ADSL 2+ Unlimited downloads per month? What type of contract(s) is there? How long do they go for? What if I get a landline deal with you as well? And the last question: If I wanted to get internet, landline and mobile phone from you, what is the best deal you can offer? What type of mobile phone do you offer?

  • Hi, maybe you can help me with this? I am a pensioner and use my internet probably 14 hours per day. I recently bought a mobile phone and am after a bundle with home phone, internet and mobile, I am with iPrimus with just the 2 (home phone and internet). Obviously I am after the cheapest but still want quality. Regards.

  • I am an existing Dodo customer. I wish to find out if it is possible to have a wireless broadband connection that I can use on my desktop PC as well as a laptop. I would also like to find out a price that includes a mobile phone and have this as part of a bundle instead of a landline. I require about 6GB per month.

  • I want to be able to check my upload and download speed with my current provider. How can I do this?

  • When we were living in Melbourne we had Naked DSL with iiNet, which was great as we had a VOIP phone and did not pay line rental. We have since moved to Newcastle and Naked DSL is not available here. We now pay twice as much for half the speed (still with iiNet). We never use our home phone and want to get rid of it. What options can you recommend (excluding Mobile Broadband as the wireless coverage in our house has many black spots) Thanks.

  • At present I use an AAPT capped Dial Up bundle. I would like advice on Broadband services. I surf, make minimal downloads - no movies or music, but am on 4-5 hours per day. Preferably a month-to-month plan so I may check service etc. before locking myself into a long contract. Kind Regards

  • I am looking for a broadband plan for home without the requirement of a landline phone. I currently have mobile broadband via Optus, however, this is extremely slow (almost dial-up speed). Not looking for anything more than about $50 per month?

  • I am searching for a cheap and reliable internet service for my home desktop computer. I would like a company that would bill me monthly to pay either at the post office or somewhere else, but not by credit card or direct debit. Can you help here?

  • We are moving from abroad to Balhannah, SA. We need high speed 200GB ADSL2+ internet. No contract. No charge for over usage - just slower speed. We also need a home phone. No extras and a digital set top for the TV. Can you help?

  • We live in Mount Barker and have only found Telstra (who we are currently with). Are there any providers of a home phone and broadband who will serve this area?

  • Our current iPrimus 1500/256 plan is about to expire and we want to know the fastest available plan giving us at least 20gb of data. As we live in Glenorie NSW I believe only off-net plans are available to us, please confirm? We would also prefer a plan not exceeding 12 months, with or without phone bundling.

  • What is the best offer for internet and home phone? I need 100gb. I don’t use the home phone much but I want to call Japan sometimes and I don’t want to pay more than $80.

  • We currently have a home phone with a capped bill and broadband internet connection. We do need to be able to make STD calls from our home phone and would prefer unlimited or something similar for the broadband package - what plan would you suggest??? We are in Tasmania.

  • I am living in Waratah, Newcastle now with 3 friends. We have decided to set up home broadband with heavy usage. I am not sure what kinds of broadband we have in my area. The phone is not used; does that mean we should choose a Naked DSL plan?

  • Is ABC iView unmetered by Exetel?

  • I need broadband but do not really need a home phone. I’m renting for 6 months so I don’t want a contract of any great length. My guess is around 10 GB per month, but I do have a 16 year old, so I need a speed good enough to run Xbox online. Also watching the dollars.

  • How do I change from Telstra? Plus, I need a set monthly price on a home bundle. I need the internet and a home phone. I do make long distance phone calls. What is my best plan?

  • I live in Pompedo South, Fortitude Valley, Qld. I would preferably like a no-contract (or 6mths max) with roughly 50GB of downloads. I do not need a phone line. If you could please advise me of the available options and a comparison of the rates (I would expect to pay circa 50$/month preferably less of course!)

  • TPG has just offered me their off-net 512/100gb ADSL 2+ at $40 per month and I am disappointed about the price. I was hoping for $30 per month for ADSL2+ like my mother-in-law gets in Melbourne from TPG. What other options are available to me?

  • What is the difference between the different types of broadband, and what is good for my area?

  • I want to change my internet service company, because my internet can now be upgraded into an ADSL2+ service, and I got an email saying they will upgrade my speed into 2+ for free. But when I went to change to a 2+ plan (on their website it said the adsl2+ service will cost less), the company said I need to pay a lower monthly fee: $25.00, but pay for a Speed Change: $25.00. I think this is unfair for customers, so I want to change to another service company, could you give me some advice. Thanks a lot.

  • I am about to go on a contract with an iPhone with Optus. I would like to keep the home phone at lowest cost possible for receiving calls and husband to make occasional calls. I currently pay a fortune for internet with Optus and would like to still have home wireless internet for laptop use. I live in Atherton NQ and do not have access to Optus home phone current internet is on old Optus plan rented through Telstra.

  • As our contract with Optus has come to an end what is involved in changing to iPrimus?

  • Could you please explain exactly what mobile broadband is? Is it anything to do with mobile phones?

  • I’m with Optus at the moment and they won’t give me an IP address. So I am looking for a company that can give me an IP Address and unlimited internet and an unlimited phone line.

  • I would like a bundled package where the phone has the ability to call mobiles and national calls. I would also like the home internet connection to be wireless so if we take the laptop off the desk we can use it and eventually hook it into the TV. Also can you add an iPhone into your packages?

  • I have just moved to Picton nsw 2571 and am looking to get a phone/broadband package for home. We would be looking for a plan of approximately 25gb download and unlimited local calls. Could you please let me know which is the best plan available?

  • Do you support film companies and send warnings to customers who download? Have any Australians been sued for downloading not uploading?

  • I have no home phone as both myself and husband have mobiles. He is on an $18 plan which he blows by $15 per month average and I am on a $49 plan with Three. This month the bill was 3 x the price due to calling home lines and a mobile with Optus. My broadband plan with 3 includes 2GB download per month, so I use my laptop for most of my emailing and downloads. Not a facebooker, dont download music or movies so not huge traffic but that could change.

What are my options for Naked ADSL or perhaps WiFi? We have Foxtel...just basic sport, not HD or IQ. Had a lot of hassles with broadband with 3, tired of dealing with them. Sadly my sister and hubby are with 3. What is the best thing I could do that bundles Foxtel perhaps (or do I need a home phone for this, prefer not to have one) and gives me more downloads if I should decide to use more GB?? Can I use a computer to make VoIP calls? What is VoIP?

  • I live in Cranbourne West Vic 3977 and I have been told that we cannot get broadband. I know that Cranbourne exchange is ADSL enabled though no one is able to connect us. Could you please look into this more and let me know why this is happening.

  • I have been with the same provider for some years and looking for an ADSL2+ deal. TPG's 10gb with phone sounds interesting, over 18 months with a total monthly rate of $39.99. I have my own ADSL modem and use Skype for my phone calls. This is part of my internet usage by my current ISP - I am a pensioner and wish to continue to use the same system. Is this possible with TPG?

  • I am looking for new bundle deal broadband, fastest I can get for my area, usual usage is no more than 10 GB per month and home phone to include 50 local call per month and usually no more than 3 long distance calls per month. Would prefer no contract or up to 12 months if this is not possible.

  • I am with 3 my speed is about 1.4. I have trouble with Facebook and even connecting to the internet. Can you help me find a better and faster broadband service??

  • Kindly provide me the offer for unlimited broadband and unlimited telephone calls. Will you please quote me?

  • Which phone broadband deal to sign up with? We have a pre paid dongle with Virgin so should we use this and just get a landline as wife needs to call the UK a bit?

  • Hello there, I live in a share house in Parkville in Melbourne VIC 3052 and would like an unlimited download or close to unlimited with the fastest speed possible (adsl2+?) I live with 5 people so would prefer wireless. We have a home phone which is currently not connected, would preferably like a standalone deal without a phone bundle because we never use our home telephone. As we are all students we are looking for the cheapest possible option! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • The modem is not working. We have Optus broadband access and phone. I want to enquire about either replacing the modem and/or replacing the modem with another broadband plan or phone/broadband plan. Currently we have a $49.99 broadband plan with 120GB download - 50GB in peak time, 70GB in non-peak time.

Access is relatively fast, however my son would prefer faster speed and I think if I replaced the modem this would be possible. I have a phone bill of $49.99 monthly which includes 3 hrs national calls, and unlimited local calls. Extra for 1300 nos. and mobiles. I would appreciate some information to keep my phone and broadband expenses to a minimum. Also at the moment, I access Skype to make some national calls. Thank you.

  • I live in Warrawee (Sydney northern suburbs) and currently do not have a landline. I am interested in Naked ADSL. Would you mind letting me know if I need a phone line to set this up plus any other start up costs for the $29/month naked broadband plan?

  • I have just moved to Brisbane from Denmark with my girlfriend. We will stay in Brisbane for 5 months and is moving into an apartment this Monday. We need some internet in the apartment for that 5 month period and I have no idea how it works down here... In Denmark we just have very fast unlimited internet for about $30 monthly. We both need to use it at same time.

Let’s say we are online about 4-6 hours daily. We Skype a lot with people home in Denmark, and download once in a while. I could imagine that we will use Grooveshark a lot when we are in the apartment (GS is a site where you can listen to all kinds of music) Otherwise I will be streaming two or three footballs matches a week. What kind of internet solution would you recommend us to get?

  • I am researching for my elderly mum, who would like a reasonably priced bundle for internet, landline and mobile phone. Her landline is currently with Telstra, her internet with Dodo, and her mobile is prepaid. She does not use the internet very much but would like to have it to keep in touch with family via email. Her current phone plan gives her a small discount because she is a senior citizen, is it possible to retain this discount if she switches to a bundle?

  • Looking for no contract, wireless adsl / home phone package bundle. Have teenage children who download quite a bit. Want no charge local/national calls and cheapest rates for mobile calls from home line. Only want one monthly charge, preferably under $70.00 p/mth. Can you help? Thanks.

  • What's the best deal for home phone and broadband? Can you please forward me the call rates also? Seen on TV advertised $9.95, with free line rental. What does this include?

  • Have seen an ad on TV unlimited $29.99 where is it? I am looking for a plan for my parents, 10GB is sufficient. They have a line with Telstra. Would they have to change? What is involved? What would be the cost of connecting with TPG? Any additional costs? Thank you for your assistance.
