How Does it Work?

Click on the Begin Test button in the centre of the page.

The Speed Test tool will download a file and measure how long it takes to download it. After the download is finished the speed checker will upload a file, and then measure your upload speed. If you want to get accurate results, we recommend you close all other applications while the speed checker is running, and run the test a few times so that an average speed can be calculated. Broadband speed is measured in kbps (kilobits per second). 1Mbps is approximately 1,000kbps.
