Naturally, Virgin Mobile encourages responsible drinking – customers must be 18 and over to take advantage of the offer.
First it was netbooks, then tablet devices, and now it’s boutique wine worth $191. The mobile carrier has found a new way to entice new customers to their contracted broadband plans, which also include a WiFi mobile broadband modem. Virgin Mobile uses the Optus network to provide coverage, which covers 97 percent of Australia.

If you bundle your mobile broadband service with another Virgin Mobile product, you can a further $5 each month.
The WiFi modem included in the plans can connect up to three wireless devices simultaneously, it includes a MicroSD card slot and weighs in at a wispy 90 grams.

Plans are on a 12-month contract, include a WiFi modem, a case of wine, and data has a 1-month expiry. There are no excess usage charges, Virgin Mobile will slow your broadband speed, then 250MB later you will be unable to use your service till the following bill cycle.
