Club Telco has slashed the price of its mobile broadband USB modem from $29 to $14.50 until January 1, 2012.
The Internet Service Provider (ISP) has also added two new plans to its mobile broadband range: 10GB for $40 and 15GB for $55. There is a $14 delivery charge on the modem.
Club Telco uses the Optus network for its mobile broadband plans, which covers 97% of the Australian population.
All plans are month-to-month and come with a 14-day money-back guarantee, so if the network coverage is not great in your area, you can send back the modem and cancel without charge.
If you have more than one device to connect, Club Telco also offers a Wi-Fi mobile broadband modem, for $70.
The only catch on these plans is a $50 annual membership fee, which is charged in the first month.
There are several member benefits, however, including access to the Rewards Club. It's essentially a discount card that gives members significant discounts on trips to the cinema, groceries, car hire and other retailers and services.
