Terms & Conditions

Note to self: Not for sale in Northern Territory or Tasmania. Broadband speeds are available
in the Optus Dual Band (2100MHz / 900MHz) network. See virginmobile.com.au/coverage.
Outside of these areas you will fall back to Optus’ GSM/GPRS network. A dual band
(2100MHz / 900MHz) modem is required to access the full coverage area.

Data includes uploads and downloads & is charged per KB. Exceed your data allowance &
speed is limited to 128 Kbps for the next 250 MB. Use more and your service will be
unavailable until the first day of your next usage period, unless you buy a data top up (max 3
per month). Service cancellation may apply if you download continuously or if your use
adversely impacts other users. Peer to Peer speed limited to 32 Kbps. Acceptable Use Policy
applies.

12 month connection required. The full Post-Paid price (PPP) of the USB modem is $149 and
the full Post-Paid price (PPP) of the WiFi™ modem is $192. Each month you’re on the plan
the PPP/12 is paid off the modem (which for the USB Modem 1GB and WiFi Modem 1 & 3GB
plans includes your contribution of $5, $16 and $8 per month respectively). Leave anytime
just pay the outstanding balance of the PPP & all outstanding charges billed and unbilled plus
$250 if you leave within the first 6 months.

1GB = $228, 3GB = $348, 6GB = $468, 8GB = $588, 10GB = $708

1GB = $360, 3GB = $444, 6GB = $468, 8GB = $588, 10GB = $708


BYO Modem: Leave anytime, just pay outstanding balance of the PPP owing, the current
month’s pro-rated spend, plus $250 if you leave within the first 6 months
Credit approved customers only. Payment by E-Bill and direct debit only. 1st bill is pro-rated
(min monthly spend and included data).
