Vodafone has announced a new eForum where customers can login, vent, suggest, and report any issues they’ve been having with their Vodafone mobile or broadband service.
Topic areas which Vodafone has already added to the site include “Plans and Billing,” “Phones, Tablets and Mobile Broadband” and “Network Coverage.” Customers have already been invited to give feedback on the forum.
Vodafone announced the site, which is still in beta mode on Friday. The announcement comes following the 3G network issues the provider has been having since late last year. Vodafone has already apologised with a $500 million upgrade in February, and according to a recent study, their customer satisfaction rate decreased by only 4% in the second half of 2010.
"Launching the Community means our customers now have a destination where they can not only let us know what they need or think, but they can share their expertise and experience with other customers," Vodafone director of customer service Cormac Hodgkinson said in a statement.
Since the network issues last year, customers have been going to other social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook to vent their frustrations. Vodafone social media staff has been monitoring the comments, and updating customers via their blog.
