Mobile broadband online specials
Like mobile phone plans, many mobile broadband plans are embellished with specials only available to new customers who sign up online.

Virgin: web special – 3 months free on selected plans
New customers who sign up to the $29 (save $87) or $39 (save $117) Virgin post-paid mobile broadband plans will receive three months free access on their mobile broadband account. The offer is available to contracts which are at least 12 months long, and unless the offer is extended, it is available until March 23rd 2011.
Customers should be aware the credits will be applied to the account in months one, five and nine. The credit will be for the access fee only, and does not include excess usage charges if you exceed your cap.
Post-paid mobile broadband plans are available from $29, and Virgin uses the Optus network to provide coverage. You can contact Virgin on 1300 106 571, however be aware that to take advantage of the offer, you need to sign up online, or call us at Compare Broadband on 1300 106 571.
Optus: one month free access
If you’re a new Optus customer and you sign up to one of their 12-month mobile broadband data plans, Optus will give you one month free access on your contract.
Optus mobile broadband plans have no excess usage fees, and include bonus data to use during off peak hours. The plan prices range from $4.95 per month (pay as you go), up to $79.95 per month (16GB+32GB).

Vodafone: one month free access
Vodafone is offering one-month free access to customers who sign up to a 12 or 24-month contract which is priced at $29 or more. The offer is currently available until 23/3/11.
Customers should be aware that excess usage is charged at $0.02 per MB, and if you are charged for excess usage, this fee isn’t included in the one month’s free access.
