Spin Mobile Broadband plans

Spin is an Australian Internet Service Provider (ISP) offering ADSL, ADSL2+, Naked DSL and 3G Mobile Broadband plans.

Mobile Broadband is a broadband connection over mobile phone towers. It is not as fast or stable as ADSL but it is completely portable and allows customers to access a broadband internet connection on the move.

Plans are available on a month-to-month basis or on a 24-month contract. Customers choosing the 24-month plan receive a free Huawei 3G modem, while month-to-month customers can buy one for $99 or bring their own modem for $29.95.

Occasional users who don't need much data could use the $5.50 a month pay-as-you-go plan. Data is charged at 3 cents per MB, and you only top-up when you need to use the internet.

During December, Spin is offering extra data on its post-paid plans.

1GB plan (with bonus 0.5GB for December sign-ups) $14.95 a month
4GB plan (with bonus 1GB for December sign-ups) $29.95 a month
7GB plan (with bonus 1.5GB for December sign-ups) $39.95 a month
10GB plan (with bonus 2GB for December sign-ups) $49.95 a month
15GB plan (with bonus 3GB for December sign-ups) $69.95 a month

Unused data cannot be rolled over on these plans.

Spin can provide coverage through most of Australia but customers should call up first for an address check to make sure coverage is strong enough at their home.
