Spin Naked DSL plans

Spin is an Australian-owned and based Internet Service Provider (ISP) that offers Naked DSL, ADSL, ADSL2+, mobile broadband and home phone and internet bundle deals across Australia.

Naked DSL is an ADSL2+ connection without the need for home phone line rental. Spin offers a range of plans from 5GB for the light user, to 60GB for heavy downloaders. All Spin plans allow customers to use their data whenever they want.

In addition, Spin bundles all Naked DSL plans with a VoIP plan, so you can still make phone calls over your internet connection. Local calls and national calls over VoIP are free, while mobile calls are 29 cents a minute. International calls are charged from as little as 5 cents a minute.

Spin offers a direct in dial number (DID) with VoIP plans for $1 a month.

5GB Naked DSL plan, with free uploads and VoIP, costs $49.95 a month.
20GB Naked DSL plan, with free uploads and VoIP, costs $59.95 a month.
40GB Naked DSL plan, with free uploads and VoIP, costs $69.95 a month.
60GB Naked DSL plan, with free uploads and VoIP, costs $79.95 a month.

The data is available anytime. For customers who want more data and are happy to download overnight, Spin offers a generous 160GB of data, at 2,000kbps, to be used between 2am and 9am for just $5 extra.

Plans are slowed to 72kbps once the limit has been reached, so there is no charge for using extra data.

For customers with an ADSL2+ service on the Optus network, Spin can transfer the service to Naked DSL for free on a 24-month contract, $49 on a 12-month contract and $99 on a month-to-month plan.

Customers with Telstra or a Telstra reseller, who already have an active telephone service, can convert their service to Naked DSL for $49 on a 24-month contract, $99 on a 12-month plan and $199 on a month-to-month plan.

Spin can also connect the telephone services in properties without an active home phone service, for an additional fee.
