The best deals that will accommodate for your gaming needs will involve ADSL2+. The faster the broadband connection, the faster that you will be able to simultaneously run internet on gaming consoles and laptops.
ADSL2+ runs at a speed of up to 24Mbp. This may vary on the location of your home to a telephone exchange, but a broadband plan which assists with fast internet is one which will be handy for your online gaming and laptop needs. To compare, if your household was to run on an ADSL1 connection, the speed (up to 5Mbps) will not be able to load videos or entertainment for either your laptop or your PS3 without severe lagging involved on both parts.
