What is naked DSL broadband?

Naked DSL is an internet connection through your phone line, without a home phone service. It's ideal for people who want a stable, fast internet service at home, without the added cost of line rental. Naked DSL, through any provider, requires a few steps. It may sound strange, but unfortunately the internet service provider (ISP) first requires the phone line to be activated at your home, which is eligible for an ADSL2+ service, before a Naked DSL connection can be made. Second, a broadband connection is set up for your home. Finally, the home phone service is turned off. If you don’t have an active phone line, the following internet providers can organize a Naked connection for you: iPrimus: 1300 137 794 iiNet: 1300 769 169 Netspace: 1300 115 225 iPrimus does not charge set-up fees on 24-month contracts, which will help keep your costs down, while iiNet has some great VoIP plans you can bundle with your broadband plan, perfect for Naked DSL customers. Netspace prides itself on good customer service. If you already have an active line, you can call any of the above providers but also call us on 1300 106 571 for TPG and Exetel Naked DSL plans.
