I have just moved to Picton nsw 2571 and am looking to get a phone/broadband package for home. We would be looking for a plan of approximately 25gb download and unlimited local calls. Could you please let me know which is the best plan available?

Initial checks show ADSL1 broadband is available in Picton NSW. Most providers are now offering very fast speeds on ADSL1 (up to 20Mbps), however not all internet providers can offer landlines in your area.
iPrimus has an $89.95 per month package which includes line rental, 25GB of broadband (to use at any time), plus unlimited local and national calls included. The package is available on a 24-month ($0 setup) contract. You can purchase a Netcomm wireless modem directly from iPrimus for $99.90 (including delivery).

If you’re looking for more flexibility in your contract length, Spintel has a package which includes unlimited local calls along with $1 untimed national calls ($49.95 per month for the home phone). You can bundle this plan with an ADSL1 broadband service (30GB for $49.95), and pay a minimum of $99.90 per month. The plan is available on a no-contract, six-month, 12-month or 24 month contract. The longer your contract, the bigger discount you will receive on your modem.
