I am an existing Dodo customer.
I wish to find out if it is possible to have a wireless broadband connection that I can use on my desktop PC as well as a laptop. I would also like to find out a price that includes a mobile phone and have this as part of a bundle instead of a landline. I require about 6GB per month.

Mobile wireless broadband uses 3G technology to provide you with a wireless broadband service. If you sign up for Dodo mobile wireless broadband, then you will be able to use the internet wherever there is Optus coverage.
It is now possible to connect up to 10 devices thanks to the Netcomm 3G N router which Dodo offers. When you sign up for 24 months, the 3G router comes free. The router can connect your PC and laptop up to the WiFi network as long as they have WiFi capability. You will also be able to connect other devices such as smartphones, iPads and e-readers. Be aware that the more devices you connect to the signal, the slower the connections will be, and mobile wireless broadband speeds aren’t nearly as consistent or as fast as an ADSL broadband service.
Included in the 24-month Dodo mobile broadband plan is the choice between a U900 netbook and a Pendo Pad. The Pendo Pad is a tablet which uses the Android operating system which of course can connect to the WiFi network as well.
If you need about 6GB per month, Dodo has a mobile wireless broadband plan which is $39.90 per month, 4GB peak and 8GB off peak. Peak hours are from 12am till 7am. Be aware that excess data is charged at 10c per megabyte and capped at a maximum monthly cost of $99. You can keep an eye on your usage through your online account, or by calling Dodo customer service.
Dodo offers special deals for customers who bundle their mobile broadband service with one of their mobile phone plans. They have a huge range of mobile phones to choose from, including the Samsung Galaxy S and the Nokia N8, and you can mix and match broadband and mobile plans to suit your usage.

Other broadband providers who offer hardware that connects multiple devices to a mobile broadband service include Optus (1300 768 194), Virgin Mobile (1300 106 571) and Vodafone.
