We are moving this week, we have two laptops which we would like to use wireless, also we need the phone connected, I cannot make sense of any of the plans, we appear to be medium usage but don't want to pay the earth, free/cheap phone calls would be good, around $70 p/m would suit, some clarity would be exceptional, thanks Kylie

If you are interested in Internet Access and Home Phone bundles with unlimited local calls, you can try the following providers below: iPrimus: 1300 137 794 iPrimus has a Platinum plan which includes free local calls, 21GB of data, a free modem, and line rental for $89.95 on a 24-month contract. iiNet: 1300 106 571 iiNet offers a cheap VoIP service (make phone calls over the internet, exactly as you would using your landline) which includes free local and national calls. Optus: 1300 137 897 Optus Fusion plans include local calls, national calls and calls to Optus mobiles, and a free modem. If you want to go wireless, you will need a wireless router or modem. If you already have a modem you can buy a wireless router to create a home Wi-Fi network, or you can buy a new modem with the wireless router included. You can buy this hardware from any electricals store or you can get one from your broadband provider when you sign up. The advantage of buying one from your broadband provider is free technical support if you need advice in setting up the modem. Setting up the modem will also be much easier as the broadband provider will configure the modem for you - so it will be ready to go once your internet is activated.
