Hi, I am looking for a value for money bundle.
Though we don't use much of the home phone(except to make calls abroad using calling cards and some rare calls to 1300s), I am not sure if naked dsl can be a good choice as it sounds it might need more equipments like naked dsl compatible modem and router. We basically use internet for basic purpose like listening to music, browsing, Skype-ing and watching movies once or twice in a week. We are paying $70 in a month and have 20GB data allowance which seems to be insufficient and expensive while TPG is giving unlimited for $60. Can you suggest something else on/under $70 for more than 20GB data allowance???Thank you. Jyoti

Naked DSL is simply ADSL2+ internet without a separate bill for line rental. Instead, line rental is more or less included in the cost of the internet and you can't make any calls on your landline.
You don't need any extra equipment for this, as your existing ADSL2+ modem/router will work perfectly well with Naked DSL. However, you may want to upgrade to a VoIP compatible modem so you can take advantage of cheap calls over the internet.
iiNet offers some great Naked DSL deals and includes free VoIP calls to local and national numbers on its plans. iiNet offers a BoB modem which is ideal for Naked plans as it features a built-in VoIP phone, plus an answering machine.
For $69.95 a month, iiNet offers 100GB (split 50GB peak, 50GB off peak) on a Naked DSL plan with a $195 set-up fee on a month-to-month plan or 24 months for a set-up cost of $79.95.

Alternatively, you could keep paying line rental but switch to a bundle deal to save money. TPG offers unlimited ADSL2+ broadband for $59.99 a month, which includes line rental.
