Looking for an internet + home phone bundle, currently with 3 for internet on an $29.00 plan 3G- but we are always going over this and paying a fortune, with a seperate home phone line with Telstra $29.00 line rental plus calls, I make alot of STD calls thus would aim for an unlimited call deal. I want to simplify my life with one provider at a good price. Can you suggest anything?

A bundle deal is a great way to make your bills both inexpensive and manageable. Combining your phone and internet with the same provider is an easy way to save yourself a lot of trouble when it comes to paying bills, and it's often where you'll find the best deals on internet. This is because Internet Service Providers (ISPs) hope that you'll make up the difference in the cost for GBs by using their service to rack up a lot of call charges, but it works out well for the savvy user.

When it comes to being charged for going over, most ISPs these days will avoid that in favour of shaping your internet speed. If you exceed your data usage, they will put you down to 256k (dial-up speed) for the remainder of the month. The exception to this is Dodo, who will still charge you when you go over, so perhaps it's best to avoid them until you know better what kind of usage you need.
