The home phone plans
Speak@home lite 29.95
Local calls: 19.7c each
National calls: 19.7c/min, capped at $2.65 for two hours
Speak@home plus $39.95:
Local calls: 14.8c each
National calls: 14.8c/min, capped at $1.99 for two hours
A call connection fee of $0.39 applies to all national, international and fixed to mobile calls.
Eftel provides a range of extra features for your home phone, including call forwarding, call waiting and 3-way chat.
If you exceed your data limit
Users who exceed their data limit on plan #1 will have their service slowed to a speed of 64Kbps, while those on any of the higher plans will have a slowed speed of 256Kbps.
Set-up fees
Customers who sign up for 18 months will be rewarded with free installation, while those who sign on for a month-by-month contract will need to pay a $129 set-up fee. Customers who sign up for the short period will still be charged a $75 exit fee if you cancel your service within the first six months.
Customers who are connecting a previously inactive home phone line will incur a charge of $59. Where a technician is required to reattach existing appropriate cabling, Eftel will charge an additional fee of $125.

If you sign-up with Eftel, you’ll be able to manage your broadband account via the MyAccount toolbox, where you can keep an eye on your usage and update your account details. Eftel also offers five email addresses with their plans and 50MB of webspace.
