Xbox Game Pass is a video game subscription service from Microsoft. It gives the users all the benefits of Xbox Live Gold and access to over 100 high-quality console and PC games. Microsoft is also adding new games regularly. That means its subscribers always have something new to play.

Just recently, Microsoft announced that they are adding new games to the Xbox Game Pass. Many of them are from the Bethesda games, and most of them are available across the Xbox Game Pass, the Game Pass for PC, and the Game Pass Ultimate.

New Games to Enjoy via Xbox Subscription Service

If you have a PC, Xbox, or both, you'll have access and play the following titles as a part of Xbox's subscription service. However, Fallout: New Vegas is only available on the Xbox Game Pass and not on the Game Pass for PC.

  • Dishonored Definitive Edition
  • Dishonored 2
  • DOOM
  • DOOM II
  • DOOM 3
  • DOOM 64
  • DOOM Eternal
  • Fallout 4
  • Fallout 76
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Prey
  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
  • The Elder Scrolls Online
  • The Evil Within
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
  • Wolfenstein: Young Blood

Most of the games on this list made a mark in the gaming industry. However, many popular titles are missing. Notable games such as Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, DOOM (2016), and The Evil Within 2 aren't part of this update. But fans of these games still have hope. Microsoft might add these titles on Game Pass sometime in the future.

Is the Xbox Game Pass Worth It?

There are a lot of reasons why some of the popular Bethesda games are missing. However, Game Pass already had a large library of titles before the Bethesda games arrived on this subscription service. Notable games, such as The Witcher 3 (Xbox only), Resident Evil 7 (Xbox and PC), and Minecraft (Bedrock Edition, Xbox only), are available on this service.

Xbox users with Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate will get access to EA Play as well. This service will give you access to several games, such as A Way Out, Battlefield V, and the Mass Effect series. On top of that, Xbox Game Pass members will also save 20% if they purchase games in the Game Pass library. There's also a chance to get 10% off on downloadable content or DLC.

Fast Internet Speed Required

Also, make sure that you have enough data and reliable internet speed to play the games online.

Even if you play offline games, you still need a fast internet connection to get updates done quickly, install new games, and install DLC.

If you're planning to subscribe to an NBN connection, it's best to get either NBN 50 or NBN 100. Many plans in this tier are fast enough for downloading video game content quickly.
