Dodo is a broadband provider that has made a name for itself by keeping its prices low, and they continue to offer internet plans that are as affordable as they are dependable. The Melbourne based internet provider has recently made some adjustments to the range of broadband plans they have on offer, which may be of interest to any budget conscious broadband consumers. Dodo’s new incentives are ideal for broadband customers who don’t wish to be tied down to a long term contract, or who are simply looking to save a bit of money; in fact, Dodo are currently offering to waive the fees of your first month’s plan. However, this incentive is for a limited time only, so customers will need to sign on to a Dodo NBN plan by the 30th of June 2021 in order to take advantage of it.
Dodo’s Typical Evening Speeds
Dodo has also given their typical evening speeds a bit of an update. Typical evening speeds are the best way to measure how fast (and how reliable) a broadband plan is going to be between the hours of 7pm and 11pm, which is statistically the bracket of time when most people are using the internet, which can ultimately cause you some online congestion unless you have a broadband plan that can offer you some decent typical evening speed numbers. Following Dodo’s recent updates, the Dodo NBN 25 plan now provides typical evening speeds of 25Mbps, the NBN 50 plan features typical evening speeds of 50 Mbps, and the Dodo NBN 100 plan offers a typical evening speed of 92Mbps.
Dodo’s New Promos
At the time of writing, each of these plans start at $65 per month, and customers who sign onto the Dodo NBN 25 deal before June 30th 2021 will get their first month free. Customers may still have to pay a set-up fee of $60, which covers the modem fee (which will be a Huawei HG-659 Modem).
