Game of Thrones

Starting out strong in this list is the widely-loved and supported Westeros television series, The Game of Thrones. The drama series that started out in 2011 featured the adaptation of George R. R. Martin's fantasy novel A song of Ice and Fire.

The drama series featured the lives of nine noble families who waged war against each other to be able to gain control over the mythical land of Westeros and claim the right to sit on the Iron Throne. The story featured dragons, warlocks and the undead, adding interest to the dramatic and cinematically appealing television series.

The very first episode of the series was aired on April 17, 2011 and ended in one of the most unpredictable ways possible on May 19, 2019. The show billed today's most sought after and popular actors - Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Peter Dinklage to name a few.

Cowboys, guns and robots, all in one mind bending plot twist to enjoy over the weekend. Although the content would be better off for late night bingeing with the kids fast asleep, Westword features an interesting line for someone more open to action and the future, all rolled into one.

Although some episodes may seem strange due to the mad plots involved in the series, it is a mayhem to enjoy if you enjoy the conflicts and elements that are involved in a cowboy television series. The series is based on the movie by Michael Crichton, the man behind Jurassic Park.

Westworld features 3 seasons  with a total of 28 episodes initially released in 2016. The series features Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffret Wright, and Tessa Thompson. The series ended in 2020.

What We Do In the Shadows

A fantasy comedy perfect to begin your weekend. The television series What We Do In the Shadows features the delightful adaptation of the movie What We Do In The Shadows by Taika Waititi. Hilarious setups  and punchlines can be enjoyed all episode long, throughout the series.

Known as a Mockumentary, the show highlights the lives of three vampires, Colin Robinson, Nadja, and Nandor. You'll cry, relate and mostly lauch about the lives of these three supernatural beings as they keep up with their duties and responsibilities in life while they live in one of the apartments in New York.

Enjoy two seasons with a total of 20 episodes of fun and entertainment. Originally released in 2019, it is still unclear if a season 3 for the series is at works. The television series features Natasia Demetriou, Kayvan Novak, Mark Proksch and Matt Berry.

Castle Rock

For some serious thriller mystery to enjoy on a weekend, a Stephen King touch on your daily dose of horror would be your best bet. Castle Rock, also known as the "Rock", is a fictional town that is mainly featured in Stephen King's novels, short stories and novellas. With too many thrilling stories attached to the location - The Dark Half, Needful Things, The Dead Zone, Elevation, Bag of Bones and many more, you are guaranteed a fright the moment you sit in front of your tv.

The first season features several popular names from Stephen King's novels. However, a twist, mostly dark thrilling ones completely makes Castle Rock far from different from Stephen King's literary works. Season 1 features a cover-up on the Shawshank Correctional Facility, creating a series of connections among Alan Panbord from Needful Things and The Dark Half as well as Jack Torrance from The Shining and IT, without the makeup.

Castle Rock was first aired in 2018 with two seasons available on BINGE.  It features 20 episodes featuring Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Andre Holland and Sissy Spacek. The latest episode was aired in December 201 with no confirmation yet of a third season.

American Horror Story

Enjoy all the nine seasons and possible still growing television series American Horror Story. The Ryan Murphy Anthology features several "location-based" horror stories - Hotel, Murder House, Asylum and other interesting one-liner horror power words such as Cult, Apocalypse and Coven. Each season adds a different new flavor, featuring most of the main characters from the older seasons, each tackling a different new character, with the same level or improved fright factor.

The series is based "loosely" on some true events as well as current climates happening around the world. If you want a nice freaked out weekend, or late night viewing before trying to get to sleep out of fear, the American Horror Story is your best television series yet available in BINGE.

The very first episode of AHS was released in October 2011 featuring a powerhouse cast - Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange. Season 9's  latest episode was aired in November 2019, with a hopeful fan base looking forward to season 10.
