Created by Dan Goor and Micheal Shur, this well acclaimed TV series has seven finished seasons with the eighth season having to premier in the later dates of 2020.

Lucifer

Undoubtedly, this series has its own charm that will make people want more of it! The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (played by actor Tom Ellis) who dwells in the world along with human beings. He spends his time with vices, living with excessive luxury along with his elite human friends, and manipulating them with his supernatural powers. He is then unexpectedly involved in a murder crime that led him to team up with LAPD officer Chloe Deckerwho, surprisingly, is NOT affected by Lucifer’s charm.

La Casa De Papel / Money Heist

Are you looking for a mind-blowing, action packed series to watch? Well, La Casa De Papel could be the right one for you. This is the story of a group of thieves and their dream to enter and steal from the highly-secured Royal Mint of Spain. The mastermind, El Profesor, has smoothly laid out the plan even up to the slightest factor that could affect the heist. You will be amazed with how he manages counter plans for every possible scenario that could happen. Each of the member of the heist team has specific skills proven useful in the robbery. However, as hours and days go by inside the facility, the tension grows stronger between the hostages and the robbers themselves start getting anxious. This is where problems and doubts arise, leading the heist to a suspenseful ending.

Stranger Things

Set in the rural town of Hawkins, Indiana in the late 1980s, this movie will take you back in time with its cinematography, setting, and costume design. However, that is not the big fish. This movie is science fiction with a bit of comedy, romance, drama, and horror. Meaning, it is a jammed pack of every genre!

The story is about how a young boy of Hawkins, Will Byers, disappears from their town unknowingly. His family and friends start searching for him only to find out that he is on the other side of our world or what is called the Upside Down. From that place, a horrendous monster dwells and is soon to cause havoc in the human world. Will's closest friends and Eleven, a young girl with super abilities, are set to save the town of Hawkins from this mysterious creature. What is amazing about this series is all of the characters have a story to tell as they have gone on different journeys. This show has a unique plot and each episode has something exciting to offer.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Sabrina is a half-mortal and half-witch teenage girl. She is stuck between two raging stones: living in the human world and living in the world of wizardry. She needs to choose between the two but her dual nature makes it hard for her. Sabrina will soon know that her kin have signed their names on the book of the beast in exchange for longer lives. The decisions she has to make are coming to her like a boulder of rocks rolling all at once.  Find out if Sabrina will follow her destiny as a powerful witch or will she take full control of her life as a mortal. This is not your usual beautifully-coloured wizardry world. It's dark, chilling, and tempting. This show will definitely draw you near its magic.

Russian Doll

The bizarre happening in the life of Nadia is something that would tangle up the curls on your brain. Nadia is caught up in an unexplained time loop where she lives on the day, dies in the evening, and lives again in the morning. She goes through this process over and over, yet you won’t get bored because for each process that she goes through, the story just becomes more savvy and complex. While she dies in the evening and wakes up in the morning, Nadia slowly unfolds a bit of information about her bizarre experience. This series will surely get you tangled up with its looping storyline that you won’t get to stop watching it.

Bojack Horseman

Bojack Horseman is a washed-up 90s comedian who wants to be back on the stardom by publishing his biography, which will be written by a ghostwriter. This anthropomorphic horse has difficulty in socialising. He also suffers from depression, is alcoholic, and has self-destructive tendencies. Nonetheless, this is not what you have to look out for in the show. It is the self-improvement and character development that Bojack goes through. It is surprising how an animated character can become too human to depict reality. All in all, Bojack can give you a good laugh and at the same time, a good cry.

The Witcher

Geralt of Rivia is a witcher who kills monsters for money. This solitary man has supernatural powers because he is a mutant. He roams around the continent slaying monsters in every place he goes. Of course, what you can expect from it are epic battles between the mutant and the monsters he slays for money. The first few episodes portray his solitary moments while killing beasts. Everything changed when he met a powerful sorceress and a mysterious princess who will change his fate. Some even compare this to the all-time-favorite Game of Thrones because of its settings, effects, and storyline. Nonetheless, this movie overflows with fantasy, magic, and mystery. Plus, Henry Cavill totally mastered the way of a mysterious, dashing man.

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness

This doco has ultimately caused a loud clamor and gossip on the internet since its release. The story is about the infamous big cat collector Joe Exotic who owns a zoo in Oklahoma. He ventures the business world by using his animal collections as props or exhibits. This act caught the attention of the animal activists. One specific animal activist whom Joe had a heated relationship with was Carole Baskin who is the founder of Big Cats Rescue. One day, Joe accused Carole of murdering her own husband and feeding him to the big cats. After that, Exotic also hired a hitman to shoot Baskin dead. This true crime documentary will surely keep your sweat dripping as the heated confrontations escalate. Currently, the Tiger King series has one season with seven complete episodes on Netflix.
