Pay as you go internet dongle plans allow you the flexibility of accessing your internet both inside and outside of your home, as well as not being committed to a long term contract. If you jump on a dongle plan, otherwise known as wireless or mobile plans, you can look forward to accessing your Wi-Fi at home, while you’re commuting to work, and even studying in the sun. Pay as you go internet plans are a fantastic option for those of us who are don't want to commit to a long-term contract. There's no lock in contract, so you can cancel your prepaid Wi-Fi dongle plan at any time without incurring fees or any hassle. Whether you are traveling through Australia, have a short term lease or you just want to see how you feel about the service before you commit to a long contract, a pay as you go internet dongle plan may be an ideal option for you.

Just to be clear, a dongle is a small piece of hardware equipped with mobile broadband that connects to the port of a device (it is not at all dissimilar to a USB... in fact, it is a USB). However, it will only supply internet service to the device that it is plugged into; it does not provide Wi-Fi, and you can't connect to it's internet just by being in its vicinity. If you need to connect to more than one device at the one time, you should look at a pocket modem. Pocket modems still work on the go, and you can connect more than one device to them as they are Wi-Fi capable.
