Premium Evening Speed: Premium Evening Speed is for FTTP or Cable customers only. An nbn service can never go faster than the maximum line speed available at your premises, so for FTTN/B/C customers we will confirm your actual speeds after connection if your typical speed will be limited. nbn Speed Boosts: Speed Boosts are not available on nbn Fixed Wireless.  Even if you choose a higher speed tier or purchase boost, your nbn service can never go faster than maximum line speed available at your premises. Cable Speed Boosts: These speeds exceed the capabilities of some content servers and personal computers. Average speeds will be lower and actual speeds a single user will get will vary due to a number of factors including customer hardware, equipment and software, server limitations, type of content being accessed and a number of users online. Devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable, or if you're a Telstra Air® member and you're using your home broadband service at the same time as a hotspot user. 

nbn™ New Development Charge: In areas serviced by nbn co, Telstra may be required to connect services onto the nbn network. If you’re in a new development and not already connected to the nbn network, nbn co may charge $300 to connect your premises to the nbn network. If applicable, we will bill that charge to you. Once you are connected to nbn fibre, you won’t be able to move to our copper network. Extra charges may apply for non-standard or professional install of Telstra or nbn co equipment and for premises in new developments.

Netflix ISP Speed Index: The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of prime time Netflix performance on a particular ISP and not a measure of overall performance for other services/data that may travel across the specific ISP network.
