Bills are available in My Account at the start of each billing cycle and are direct debited from your nominated account on the bill issue date. Your payment method must accept direct debits, remain valid and have sufficient funds; otherwise, your service may be terminated. You can update payment details anytime in My Account.
A Wi-Fi 6 modem comes with all new iPrimus plans. If you stay connected for 18 months, iPrimus covers the modem cost. If you cancel within 18 months, you must pay $10 per remaining month.
We cannot transfer your home phone number; you will lose it if you switch, and any fees paid are non-refundable.
During a power failure, any home phone connected via nbn will not work. Keep a charged mobile for emergencies. By signing up, you accept this.
We use your information in accordance with our privacy policy, including for order completion and promotions.
An nbn technician may be required for installation. If so, you authorise us to book the technician and proceed with this work. Someone over 18 must be present. Extra charges apply for non-standard installations and for first-time connections in new developments. Details are in the Critical Information Summary.
Attainable line speeds for Fibre to the Curb, Basement and Node are confirmed after connection. If your service cannot support your chosen speed, we may move you to a lower tier or you may terminate the service.
We may change your plan, pricing, or inclusions with written notice. Immediate changes may occur if neutral or beneficial; for detrimental changes, we provide at least 30 days’ notice.

If you’ve chosen to upgrade your service to Fibre to the Premises as part of this order:

You’ve chosen to upgrade your nbn technology for free to Fibre to the Premise.
The free upgrade covers standard installation only. Additional costs may apply if your installation is non-standard, such as requesting a location outside nbn’s standard scope, or needing extra electrical or cabling work for the FTTP connection box. In these cases, a private technician may be required at your own cost.

If you transfer or connect your old technology before the upgrade:

1. We won’t test speeds and you won’t be eligible for compensation for poor speeds while waiting for the upgrade.

2. Billing for your old plan continues until your next bill date, even if the upgrade happens sooner.

If you’re an existing customer, you won’t be charged for your upgraded plan until your next bill date, even if your upgrade happens in the meantime.
If you are renting, you’ll need your landlord’s permission for nbn work.
Once your Fibre service is active, your existing technology will be disconnected after 10 calendar days. Your previous service will remain available during this 10-day transition. Make sure you connect to your new Fibre service within the 10 days to avoid disruption. You’ll only be charged for the new Fibre service. iPrimus will notify you if any changes are required.
A compatible high-speed modem is required for optimal FTTP performance.

What’s an AVC ID?

An AVC ID (Access Virtual Circuit Identifier) is a unique identifier assigned to a broadband connection on the NBN (National Broadband Network) in Australia. It helps differentiate individual internet services within the network and is used by service providers to manage and provision NBN connections. Since you are transferring from one provider to another at the same address, this number is needed to make sure the right service is transferred.

Where can I find my ACV ID?

It can be found on your bill or in your current internet provider’s online portal. If you have email billing, you should be able to find it in your emails. All internet providers are obligated to make AVC IDs accessible to their customers. Here’s an example of what it might look like on a bill or invoice.

What if I can’t find my ACV ID?

You will need to contact your current internet provider by phone, email, or live chat to ask them for your AVC ID.
