Optus 'yes' Fusion plans
The Optus ‘yes’ Fusion plans include very large amounts of data, with a massive terabyte plan being added to their offerings. The move follows Optus’ controversial “unlimited” broadband plans which the ACCC looked into in September last year.
The Optus ‘yes’ Fusion 1TB plan (1000GB) costs $129 each month, and includes phone line rental, unlimited standard local and national calls to fixed lines, unlimited calls to 13 numbers and Australian mobiles. If you ever manage to eat your way through the 1000GB, your broadband speed will be slowed to 256kbps.
While the deal is only available on a 24-month contract, Optus will throw in a Wi-Fi modem and a $0 setup fee.
Other Optus Fusion plans include a $79 plan (120GB, unlimited fixed lines and calls to Optus mobiles), $99 (500GB, unlimited fixed lines and calls to Optus mobiles), $109 (500GB, unlimited fixed lines and calls to Australian mobiles) and $149 (500GB, unlimited fixed lines and calls to Australian mobiles). Both uploads and downloads are counted toward the monthly broadband usage.
Other internet providers offering 1TB broadband plans include iiNet (1300 106 571), Dodo (1300 136 793), iPrimus (1300 137 794) and Internode.
