Terms and Conditions: Minimum total cost over 24 months for the $140 Phone & Broadband Bundle (including payment by direct debit) is $3360. If you don’t maintain an eligible Phone and Broadband service, we will move your remaining service to the closest alternative of our standard plans. 25% Bundle Discount:
Eligible customers must connect or recontract to a Phone and/or Broadband plan for 24 months and maintain a Postpaid mobile on a $30 plan or higher. All services must be registered at same address. The discount applies to your Phone and/or Broadband access fees for the minimum term of your contract unless you cancel a service or change a service to an ineligible plan. The discount is not available in conjunction with any other offers or discounts unless specified.
Optus TV with Fetch Offer: Eligible customers signing up to and existing customers re-contracting on the Optus $85, $110 or $140 Phone & Broadband Bundle on the Optus Direct or Cable Networks for a minimum term of 24 months may elect to receive the Optus TV with Fetch Connect Package at no additional cost. No upfront or delivery fees. Optus TV with Fetch general: Optus owns the set top box and you must return it following cancellation of the service. Optus Internet Acceptable Use Policy applies. 25% Bundle Discount: Eligible customers who sign up to or re-contract to an Optus $85, $110 or $140 Phone & Broadband Bundle on the Optus Direct/Cable (remove as per rate plan) Networks for a minimum term of 24 months and maintain a Post-Paid Mobile on a $30 plan or higher will receive a 25% discount off their Optus $85, $110 or $140 Phone & Broadband Bundle monthly access fee for the minimum term of their contract, unless they cancel a service or change a service to an ineligible plan. When you take the $85, $110 or $140 Phone and Broadband Bundle you may elect to receive both the Optus TV with Fetch Offer and the 25% Bundle Discount if eligible. Plan Change Fee: To be eligible to connect to a Phone, Broadband or Phone & Broadband Bundle, existing customers must have less than three months remaining on their current contract term, otherwise a $50 Plan Change Fee may apply.
Serviceablity: For technical and commercial reasons Optus Direct services are not available to all homes, in all areas, or in NT and TAS. Optus Cable Broadband is available to selected homes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Until Optus successfully installs your Service, we cannot guarantee that the Service can be installed at your address.
Important information for Cable customers: Equipment supplied requires mains power which may not be suitable if you have a serious illness or condition, require disability services, have a back-to-base alarm, or require an uninterrupted telephone line. In that case we may recommend alternative or additional equipment.
Cable Premium Speed: WiFi connection may not be as fast as wired device. Only Optus-supplied DOCSIS 3.0-compliant EMTAs will be supported. Computer must meet minimum system requirements (Pentium 4+ for Windows or PowerPC G5/Intel for Macintosh) and may need network settings optimised.
Optus TV with Fetch: An Optus Broadband service with a download speed of at least 3Mbps, wide screen television and access to free to air digital television services required. Data usage generated by the purchase and/or download of content will be charged and credited back to you and your broadband service may be throttled if you are very close to your data limit for your Optus Broadband account. Charges may apply to data usage generated by downloads and uploads associated with meta-data, User Interface components, images and graphics, YouTube on TV, Applications, EPG information and software updates. Optus Acceptable Use Policy applies. You may only use the recording functionality of the service for viewing programmes at your nominated address at a more convenient time.
