I am moving back to Australia from Hong Kong in July.

Setting up an internet connection while moving can be difficult, we know! (That's why we wrote a guide about it.) Moving overseas must be an especially stressful process – good luck with it!
In terms of finding an internet provider to suit your needs, there are definitely providers who are going to be able to offer you similar deals. However, this is a good illustration of the differences between countries when it comes to broadband plans – more on that at Compare Broadband coming later this week.
Generally, the very fastest speed you can get on an ADSL2+ connection is 24Mbps, and that is very, very rare. Your speed is going to depend upon your distance from your telephone exchange – the closer you are to your exchange, the faster your speed will be. However, even if you were living next door to the telephone exchange, it's unlikely that you'd be getting that 24Mbps speed – there's just too many other factors that will affect the strength and speed of the connection. The median ADSL2+ speed in Australia is generally between 8 and 9Mbps. It's still fast enough for most people, but it will be quite different from the 30Mbps speed you've been getting in Hong Kong!
It's worth enquiring to see if you can get cable. Cable is a broadband connection on a fibre optic line built specifically for broadband, and you'll be able to get a much faster broadband connection on cable. Optus are the cheapest provider for cable – give them a call on 1300 137 897.
In terms of an unlimited broadband plan, there are some great offers out there at the moment.
Club Telco currently provide Australia's cheapest unlimited ADSL2+ connection. Try the Unlimited Broadband Plan for $25.00/month. You can call Club Telco on 1300 138 155.
