Hi Majid,
Somewhere along the line you've gotten confused! The whole point of Naked Broadband is to get an ADSL2+ connection that does not require an active home phone.
Naked Broadband tends to generate a lot of misconceptions. Even on Naked Broadband, you will still be paying line rental, because your phone and your internet come through exactly the same copper line. Naked Broadband isn't generally a way to save money, but it does come in useful:
- If you're living with other people, and want to make sure that no one can use the phone and create a hefty phone bill at the end of the month.
- If you're renting the house where you've connected the internet out to people, and want to make sure that they can't call anyone unsupervised.
- If you're interested in the – very, very minute – improvements a Naked Broadband connection can make in terms of your internet speed and reliability. Note that these improvements are not guaranteed and may not even be noticeable.
If one or more of these reasons applies to you, Majid, you might find that Naked Broadband is still the best thing for you to get. You can still get a phone while using Naked Broadband – you just can't get one that uses the copper line that your internet does. Click here to read more about Naked Broadband and how it works.

An alternative is getting Naked Broadband with a VoIP connection – that is, a phone that works over the internet. VoIP call rates are usually considerably lower than your standard copper line phone connection, and there are some great bundles you can get of Naked Broadband and VoIP.
I'd recommend that provider you were already looking at – MyNetFone is great with Naked Broadband and with VoIP plans. The plan you were looking at – MyNetFone's 200GB Naked Broadband ADSL2+ Plan for $49.99 per month – can bundle VoIP plans for as little as $9.90 per month.
However, if you just wanted a standard landline connection, I'd recommend you look into getting a bundle deal from another provider.

There are a lot of great options you could go with here. If you're after a provider who will give you lots of internet at budget prices, and you don't use your home phone a lot, try TPG (1300 106 571). If you want a provider who can bundle in phone calls for free to avoid a hefty phone bill at the end of each month, try Eftel (1300 106 571).
I hope this helps! For more suggestions, or if you have any further questions about Naked Broadband, please feel free to give us a call on 1300 106 571.
