Cable broadband uses the incredible bandwidth available in Australia's network of pay television cables. Cable currently offers the fastest connection available to home users in Australia.

Like ADSL, your internet connection is always on, and will not interrupt your phone line. The setup cost is usually slightly higher than ADSL, with a slightly more expensive modem and - unlike ADSL, which uses your existing phone line - a cable installation fee. The good news is that if you already have cable television, you won't need to pay for the cable installation.
