Wireless Broadband
Wireless broadband allows you to access the internet from almost anywhere without a phone line or cable connection. All you need is a capable device and a contract with a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) and you're set. Many WISPs will either sell you or bundle the required wireless modem, dongle or card with your contract.
The only drawbacks of wireless broadband are the relative cost of browsing and the lack of coverage in some areas. In exactly the same way as a cellular telephone network, Wireless broadband is also susceptible to interference from weather and location.
Be aware that Wi-Fi or a WAN (Wireless Area Network) are not wireless broadband. They are simply means for users to share one internet connection.
