For customers who have no longer have a need for their home phone line, TPG offers five inexpensive Naked broadband plans to choose from. To qualify for TPG Naked broadband, you will need to ensure TPG can offer ADSL2+ broadband to your address. You will also need to have an active home phone line to connect to TPG Naked broadband, and then the provider will disconnect it for you so you no longer need to pay phone line rental. This means that when you sign up with us either over the phone or online, you will need to provide the home phone number you want to be disconnected. If you don’t have a home phone number (after all, you are after Naked broadband) there are a couple of options available to you:

1.    TPG offers home phone and broadband plans at almost the same rate as their Naked plans (even including the home phone line rental!) Check them out here. These plans even include the same contract lengths, set-up fees and modem fees as TPG Naked DSL plans. These plans are popular even with customers who don’t need a home phone because the prices are so cheap.

2.    Not all broadband providers require you to have an active line connection so that you can sign up to their Naked broadband plans. The following providers can do a Naked connection from an inactive line (i.e with no home phone number):

iiNet (1300 106 571) – no-contract plans available and excellent customer service
Optus (1300 137 897) – check to see if they can offer Naked Cable broadband in your area
Internode (1300 106 571) – plans which start at $59.95 for 150GB of data with no-contract plans available
