iPrimus is one of the oldest telecommunications companies in Australia and is among the first to be granted a license when the country introduced the full deregulation of the industry. Over the years, the company has provided customers with a reliable internet connection with competitive pricing.

With the arrival of bigger players and companies with more sophisticated technologies, it has become more challenging for iPrimus to hold onto its customers. It is no longer one of the go-to brands for customers these days, although it’s still very capable of providing quality service to its current subscribers.

Fetch TV

Like other telco companies, iPrimus didn’t miss out on offering a Fetch TV bundle to customers. The device offers the latest in streaming entertainment and gives you access to over 40 Pay TV channels and streaming platforms such as Netflix and Stan.

The set-top box that comes when your avail of the bundle allows you to pause live TV as you wish or record up to 6 shows at a time. The Fetch TV bundle is offered as an optional add-on to iPrimus customers who are subscribed to the NBN 50 or NBN 100 Unlimited Plans.

It costs $10 per month but you may have to shell out $55 as an activation fee. Premium channel packs can also be purchased for $6 a month.

Call Packs

If PAYG calls are not cutting it for you, you can also avail of iPrimus’ call packs for as low as $ a month. This includes unlimited calls to any mobile and landline number within Australia. Those who are subscribed to iPrimus’ Supercharged plans also get extra minutes for international or mobile calls.

Should I switch to iPrimus?

Switching to any of the iPrimus NBN Plans does not require a lot from your end. Their range of service includes FTTB, FTTP, and FTTN connection, so if these are what you’re after, then maybe you should consider checking out their available plans.

But first, you have to make sure that your location is accessible by the iPrimus service. Type in your address through the search bar in this NBN rollout map to find out if you can avail of the iPrimus NBN Plans from your area.

In terms of rates and plans, iPrimus may not be the best out there. There are tons of other NBN plans with better rates and more inclusions than what you can get from this brand. But if you’re not looking for the non-essentials, iPrimus could be the right choice for you. After all, it’s more than capable of providing stable internet connection and quality service.
