Internet Service Provider (ISP) Internode has streamlined its internet plans selection and now offers customers an additional Power Pack or Business Pack for extra features.

Internode now only offers its four Easy broadband product lines, with the option of adding a Power Pack for an extra $10 a month or a Business Pack for an additional $30 a month.

The Power Pack gives customers a static IP address, free data uploads and faster shaping (512 kbps). The business pack includes usage based charging with no speed shaping, access to a free ".on.net" subdomain; priority technical support and a business-grade Service Level Agreement.

Internode product manager Jim Kellett said: "This overhaul makes selecting a broadband plan really simple by eliminating the bewildering array of plans that customers had to navigate previously: You choose your price, your data quota and your options and then Internode provides the fastest possible broadband service: Just like its name, it’s Easy."

"Existing customers can stay on their current plans unless they choose to move to a new plan that better suits their needs."

Adelaide-based Internode offers ASL2+, ADSL, Naked DSL and bundle plans to customers across Australia.

Internode broadband plans offer customers access to unmetered content, five email accounts with free virus and spam scanning, personal webspace, premium Usenet, a dialup backup account, and global roaming for no extra charge.

Unmetered content includes 100 online streaming radio stations; server farms for gaming; mirrors for common file downloads; ABC iView and TiVo online.

Existing Internode customers can change plans online and (optionally) add a Power or Business pack at the same time.

New customers can sign up online and add a Power or Business Pack at the same time, or at a later date.

Easy broadband plans from Internode start at $29.95 a month for 30GB when bundled with a NodeLine home phone service.
