Australian's entertainment options have become bigger and wider as Amazon brings three new Fire TV devices to the market this coming April 21st. These three devices shall include the Fire TV 4K, Fire TV and the Alexa voice remote.

Announced last March 24th, Amazon is finally releasing these three new devices, after its much awaited launch. Earlier announced during the brand's hardware eve in September 2021, Australian homes will finally get a taste of these new devices from Amazon.

Amazon Fire TV Features 

The Amazon Fire TV includes access to Amazon Prime Video, with over 200,000 movies and TV shows for the whole Australian family entertainment. There will be a wide number of games and apps included in the device together with the staple entertainment video streaming services such as Netflix, Stan, Disney+, ABC iView, 10 Play and YouTube. The new range of Fire TV User experience also comes with a more powerful hardware - intuitive, simple and with customised experiences.

Alexa Voice Remote

Introduced last year, the Alexa Voice Remote shall feature dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, Amazon Music, and Disney+, together with the basic power, volume and mute buttons. As an additional feature, the remote control has the ability to use voice commands used in finding and controlling content. Compatible with TV and AV devices, the Alexa Voice Remote helps reduce the number of remotes around the living room.  

The Alexa Voice Remote is compatible with the Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick Basic Edition and will be available at $54 as a separate purchase. The new Fire TV Stick and the Fire TV Stick 4K comes with one included Alexa Voice Remote upon purchase.

Fire TV Stick 4K

Another new addition to the Amazon Fire TV Stick line of products is the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K that supports Ultra HD Quality streams. The device also features support for Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR 10+ together with Dolby Atmos. It also includes instant access, with subscriptions required for Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, 9Now, YouTube and many more. Available at $99, the Amazon Fire Stick 4K comes with a free Alexa Voice Remote when purchased. 

Fire TV Stick

If you are not a fan of 4K Ultra HD streaming (who isn't?) or if you are looking for a cheaper device, the Amazon Fire TV Stick is Amazon's latest offering for you. It offers Full HD streaming experiences, with 60fps HDR quality video support and Dolby Atmos audio. 

The stick features a new and improved hardware stack, with a 1.7GHz quad-processor to begin with. It also features dual-band, dual antenna Wi-Fi with 5GHz support for a more in-depth wireless streaming experience.

The Fire TV Stick will be tagged at $79 a piece that will ship together with a free Alexa Voice Remote.

Shipping shall begin on 21 April 2021.
