Broadband bundles with all phone calls included
Not everyone has ditched the home phone in favour of VoIP, mobiles or Skype. Some of our customers we speak to are still home phone-dialling enthusiasts, and want a plan with phone calls included in the monthly broadband and home phone cost. This means you don’t have to spend time worrying about the number of calls you make, and you can easily predict the amount owing on your bill each month without any nasty surprises. Be aware however, premium numbers or international calls are not included in any of the plans below (there are some offers which include unlimited mobile calls – these offers are specified as such).
Optus ‘yes’ Fusion plans
If you bundle your Optus home phone with an Optus broadband service (ADSL2+ or cable) Optus will reward you with some included calls and large data packages.
- UNLIMITED standard local + national calls to fixed lines within Australia
- UNLIMITED Standard calls to Optus GSM mobiles within Australia
- Unlimited STD local + national calls to fixed lines within Australia
- Unlimited STD calls to Australian GSM mobiles within Australia (excl Pivotel)
The plans are on a 24-month contract, but Optus will throw in a free standard modem for new customers. There are no peak or off peak time limits, and no set-up fees. Standard calls to non-Optus GSM Mobiles within Australia are 37c per min ($2.50 Cap for up to 20 minute calls). Speeds will be slowed to 256Kbps if data limit has been exceeded.
