Motorola's iPad challenger Xoom is available through Optus on a 12 or 24-month contract, from $49.95 a month.

The 16GB plan on the 24-month contract represents the best value, at $79.95 a month. Lighter users would be content with the cheaper 4GB plans, which cost $49.95 a month on a 24-month plan, or $84.03 a month on a 12-month plan.
If you do want to buy a Xoom and plan to use it with a 3G plan, bundling the two with Optus will be cheaper than buying both separately.
For anyone who has held out on buying an iPad because it doesn't quite meet expectations, the Motorola Xoom could be what you've been waiting for.
It's the first device to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb, Google's operating system developed specifically for tablets. Unlike Apple products, Xoom supports Adobe Flash sites, videos and games.
The Xoom also benefits from a 10.1" widescreen HD display, allowing users to enjoy videos and games in high definition.
A rear-facing five megapixel camera is perfect for taking shots or taking video, while a front-facing two megapixel camera is designed for video calling.
