• What is Xbox All Access?
  • Can you still get Xbox All Access with Telstra?
  • Learn more about Microsoft teaming up with Telstra

Telstra and Microsoft have previously teamed up to offer something exciting for gamers - especially those who love Xbox. Unfortunately, as of October 2023, Telstra discontinued all Xbox All Access sales - but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get your favourite consoles.

Gaming has evolved with new gadgets and technologies, but many find these devices too expensive. If you're already enrolled in Xbox All Access with Telstra, your current agreement will remain fully supported until its completion.

Should you decide to terminate your subscription early, any outstanding balance for the console will be charged as a one-time fee on your next Telstra bill. Your membership will conclude at the end of that billing cycle.

What is Xbox All Access?

The Xbox All Access program was the result of a collaboration between Telstra and Microsoft. Similar to bundled phone plans with mobile or NBN services, this option offered an Xbox console bundled with your Internet plan. It was the ideal solution for those who prefer spreading out payments over 24 monthly instalments rather than making a single upfront purchase.

Customers who chose this bundle could opt for either an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. They also received access to the Xbox Ultimate Game Pass, which includes hundreds of games playable on both console and PC, including multiplayer titles and new releases like Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Halo Infinite. Subscribers also enjoyed access to EA Play through the Ultimate Game Pass.

Can you still get this option with Telstra?

Unfortunately not! This offer has now ceased, BUT you can get an Xbox on the Telstra website without the plan. The options include:

Xbox Series X Xbox Series S
$33.29 p/m for 24 months $20.79 p/m for 24 months
$799 outright cost $499 outright cost

Exclusive to Telstra consumer post-paid customers and console prices vary with limited stock available. You can get one next-gen console per customer account. If you cancel your monthly subscription within the first 24 months, you'll need to settle the remaining balance of your Xbox console in a single payment on your next bill.

To access your paid months of Game Pass, activate it before cancelling. Activation after cancellation isn't possible. Any remaining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Live Gold, or Game Pass months paid for but unused will stay on your account until expiration, up to 36 months total (including the initial 24 months of All Access).

After 24 months, your subscription rolls over to a monthly plan billed at the standard rate on your Telstra bill.

Your current Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass, and EA Play memberships will convert to Ultimate at a specified ratio, up to 12 months (totaling 36 months with All Access).

For more details, visit xbox.com/gamepass. To activate the included Game Pass subscription, sign in to your Microsoft account on your new console. Learn more at xbox.com/digitaldirect. Game availability varies by region and device, and Internet connection and compatible display are required. This offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
